We produce fingerlings through multiple stages, including spawning, incubation, fry rearing, and fingerling rearing, in specialized ponds or hatcheries. We aim to increase fingerling production so as to support local fish production and reduce reliance on imports. 

Building or modifying ponds and hatcheries, designing and implementing feeding systems for efficient and accurate feeding while considering the feeding behavior and nutritional needs of various fish species. 

We offer training in fish farming, production of fingerlings, feeding and types of fish feeds, design and construction of aquacultural structures and ponds.

At Pa Chikaya, We conduct aquaculture research focused on the sustainable development of various aquaculture systems, with an emphasis on improving fish production, health, and environmental management. Our work involves, Designing and implementing trials to evaluate fish growth performance, feed efficiency, and water quality parameters, Monitoring and analyzing data on fish health, breeding, and disease control, Assessing the impact of various aquaculture practices on environmental sustainability, Collaborating with local farmers, stakeholders, and institutions to promote best practices and knowledge transfer.Supporting the development of innovative aquaculture technologies and systems adapted to regional conditions.
